I've seen a few people make "page breaks" by hitting return a bunch of times, until a new page appears. This is very fragile -- as soon as you change something, the pagination changes.
Use <Ctrl>-<Enter> to insert a real page-break command. Or, using the menu, Insert->Break->Page break.
